RADIATOR CUPBOARD

This project involved sourcing and recycling old cast iron balusters from salvage, building them into a traditional-styled  pine cupboard,  installing them in a way that to allow removal for access.

BATHROOM & STUDIO KITCHEN REFURB

 New kitchen units and tiled bathroom in a local letting property.





LARGE OAK CLOCK


This Large Clock is called Arnold, made in Solid Oak and Chromaboard, being exhibited in a local Art Gallery.

 

LARGE MONOCHROME CLOCKS

These three Large Clocks are members of my family of clock designs, with a monochrome colouring and a textured finish. Approximately 60cm tall.

LARGE MANTLE CLOCKS

I have designed and made a suite of three large clocks, up to 50cm high and wide, in a monochrome character, each with a distinct personality. We have "The Bishop", "Tarquin the Proud" and "Big Betty".

GARAGE EXTENSION


 This project involved extending an existing timber garage by approximately 1 metre, and needed blockwork foundations, concrete floor, timber frame walls and roof structure, box section steel roofing, gutters, and creating a second doorway, with hanging doors using recycled timber from the down taken original front face, to match the existing door moved forward to a new position.

SHED DOOR & FRAME


This is a traditional Ledged and Braced door complete with a new frame, made and installed locally. Softwood was used, with a galvanised Suffolk Latch, and galvanised hinges. Customer to paint.

RECTORY SIGN


This is a free-standing sign for a Rectory, cut into a rough sawn Oak post to contrast the smooth text panel and the textured timber.

This house sign was made by creating a subsurface image on acrylic, mounted onto a hardwood base stained white to suit the building.

Barry, Larry, and Garry Clocks


These clocks are made with hardwoods, chroma boards, and various "special effects" finishes using a number of different materials. These were three of six clocks made, with the other three being called "Polly, Molly and Dolly".







TWIN BEDSIDE CUPBOARDS


This order for bedside cupboards specified a paint finish, so MDF board was used throughout and they were supplied with a primer undercoat treatment only, for the customer to paint herself. The drawer knobs were Monograms, cut into solid Oak, with an Oil finish.

GOLD DISPLAY CABINET

This wall display has a liftable glass front and has a high lustre gold finish.


OAK BEDROOM

Oak doors and panelling were used to create a desk and four integrated cupboards.


LOG STORE

This is a well ventilated log store with a corrugated steel roof,  constructed in pressure treated timbers.

FIREPLACE MANTLE

This project was to design and make a fireplace mantle compatible with the colour and style of other furniture in the room. Softwood with woodstain and varnish.

DOG CRATES

This project involved designing and making a double unit to house dogs in a sitting room location, with a removable partition, drawer storage above, and a table top for a television. Because of the size needed, the crates were designed in modular pieces that could be broken down for transporting. Supplied with primer and undercoat to be finished in a paint colour that matched the sitting room walls.
